IT solutions company DBFB has agreed a sponsorship deal with English Premiership rugby union team Northampton Saints.
The four-year agreement covers the 2016-17 to 2019-20 seasons and names Northampton-based DBFB as the club’s official connectivity and communications partner.
DBFB’s branding will appear on the Saints’ playing shorts during games as part of the deal. The company will also benefit from further brand exposure across other areas of the club.
DBFB's services will be used to improve the club's IT provision and connectivity.
“Having fast and reliable internet access and connectivity is vital for a company like Northampton Saints,” the club’s chief executive Allan Robson said. “This is true for any company, but especially in professional sport, where we need consistent access to the web for areas as diverse as downloading videos for match analysis, communicating to our supporters and selling tickets and merchandise.
“As a local company DBFB is well aware of our needs and ambitions, and the four-year nature of this partnership means that we can grow and develop together, as well as establishing a strong relationship.”
