The German Athletics Federation (DLV) has agreed a long-term extension to its partnership with US sportswear giant Nike.
Under the terms of the new contract, Nike will continue to supply Germany’s athletes with competition and training wear until 2028.
Financial terms were not disclosed. Nike first partnered with the DLV in 2005.
Germany won eight medals at the recent IAAF World Athletics Championships in Beijing, including golds for Christina Schwanitz (pictured) in the women’s shot put and Katharina Molitor in the women’s javelin.
