NFL’s Dolphins link up with MSC Cruises

MSC Cruises USA, the North American arm of privately-owned cruise line MSC Cruises, has entered into a partnership with NFL American football franchise the Miami Dolphins.

The three-year deal will cover the 2017, 2018 and 2019 NFL seasons.

MSC Cruises USA will now work with the Dolphins on a series of activations and engagement opportunities, tailored for NFL fans. These will include installing MSC Cruises interactive cell phone charging stations inside the team’s Hard Rock Stadium and the ability for fans to submit game-day pictures to social media.

Supporters will also be able to take photos with a scale model of an MSC Cruises ship and the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders, while the cheerleading squad will now enter the field of play carrying MSC Cruises flags to the sound of a ship’s horn.

The new partnership comes as MSC Cruises prepares to launch a new service from an expanded terminal at the port of Miami near to the Dolphins’ stadium. MSC Seaside will set sail in December, with plans also in place to add another ship to the MSC Cruises North American service in 2019.
