The Miami Dolphins franchise has agreed a partnership with the University of Miami Health System (UHealth), while rival NFL American football team the Chicago Bears has struck a deal with Advocate Health Care.
Terms of the Dolphins deal were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that UHealth will serve as the official health care provider of both the team and its Hard Rock Stadium.
UHealth will also acquire naming rights to the southeast corner of the Dolphins’ home ground, while UHealth’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Canter will serve as the presenting sponsor of one of the team’s home games.
In addition, UHealth branding will appear on interview backdrops during away games, as well as on various media and digital assets.
Meanwhile, Crain’s Chicago Business newspaper has reported that the Bears will enter a multi-year partnership with Advocate Health Care for the 2017 season.
The newspaper said that Advocate will serve as the Bears’ official health care partner and will also become a ‘Hall of Fame’ partner, the team’s top tier of sponsorship.
The Advocate logo will now appear on the Bears’ practice jerseys and on signage inside the team’s Soldier Field home stadium.
