NFL’s Lions wager on MGM Grand Detroit partnership

NFL American football franchise the Detroit Lions has entered into a partnership with MGM Grand Detroit, a wholly owned subsidiary of gaming and hospitality company MGM Resorts International.

Under the long-term deal, the length of which was not disclosed, the two parties will establish a luxurious space at Ford Field, the team’s home stadium that is currently undergoing construction work.

The ‘MGM Grand Detroit Tunnel Club’ will be located near the tunnel area of the stadium and will allow those present to have an up-close view of Lions players as they enter and leave the locker room.

Other amenities on offer include a corner lounge celebrating Detroit and early stadium access for members, while the lower bowl in the west end zone section of the stadium will be extended to include field level seating for tunnel club members.

The new facility, which can accommodate more than 100 people, will be open to selected fans and guests of the MGM Grand Detroit during Lions home matches and other stadium events.
