New York City FC has signed up a number of new partners for its debut season in North America’s Major League Soccer.
Automotive dealership Tri-State Ford has struck a deal to become a founding sponsor of the team as well as its official truck and sport utility vehicle sponsor. Although the terms of the deal were not fully disclosed, it was confirmed that Tri-State Ford will also become the team’s presenting sponsor for the 2015 season. Tri-State Ford will benefit from a branding presence inside the team’s Yankee Stadium and will also take part in various fan activations with supporters and the local community.
Meanwhile, local medical facility the New York-Presbyterian Hospital has opted to expand its existing founding sponsor deal with the club. Under the updated deal, New York-Presbyterian’s logo will appear on players’ training shirts.
In addition, the club has struck a deal for global hotel operator Hyatt to become a partner of the team. The operator’s Grand Hyatt New York facility will become the official hotel partner of the team. The Grand Hyatt New York will serve as the preferred hotel partner for visiting teams while the hotel will also benefit from a presence at Yankee Stadium.
