The 2019 Winter X Games, taking place in Aspen, Colorado, US, this week has introduced three new sponsors to this year’s roster.
These are the North American hair salon franchise Great Clips, Mexican pilsner-style beer Pacifico and fast food restaurant chain Wendy’s.
Returning brands include motorcycle brand Harley-Davidson, exclusive automotive sponsor Jeep, energy drink Monster Energy, personal finance company SoFi and The Real Cost tobacco prevention campaign.
Car insurance brand GEICO will once again serve as the Official Music Stage Sponsor.
The event is also supported by returning endemic winter brands Nobis, Polaris and Timbersled.
According to the event owners, ESPN, the sponsor packages include on-site activations, content creation and rights to the official marks and logos.
Sponsors will also have a media presence during X Games telecasts, and prominent positions across X Games social platforms and VIP on-site experiences.
The Winter X Games will take place in Aspen through 2024.
By the end of the five-year contract extension between ESPN and Aspen Skiing Company, the X Games will have been held in Aspen for 23 consecutive years.
