Kaiser Permanente has been signed up as the inaugural healthcare partner of the NBA North American basketball league.
The length of the multi-year deal has not been disclosed.
The agreement covers the Women’s NBA, NBA D-League development league and the USA Basketball governing body as well as the NBA.
Kaiser Permanente was previously a partner of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings.
The NBA’s executive vice-president of global marketing partnerships, Emilio Collins, said that the healthcare category had been a “strategic priority” for the league.
