Hotel company Marriott International has extended its partnership with North America’s NBA basketball league.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that the agreement will cover a series of NBA ‘marquee’ events in 2017 and 2018.
Marriott will retain its role as an official sponsor of the 2017 NBA China games and Mexico City games, as well as the 2018 London game and the NBA All-Star game in 2018.
Members of Marriott’s loyalty programmes around the world will also be able to redeem points for exclusive basketball-themed experiences, including tickets to major NBA events.
In addition, ‘Elite’ members of the Marriott programmes will have VIP access and experiences at marquee NBA games and events.
