Major League Baseball franchise the Boston Red Sox has entered into a partnership with vehicle rental firm National Car Rental.
The four-year deal names the company as the official car rental partner of the Red Sox until 2021.
Under the agreement, National will have in-stadium signage at Fenway Park and will also sponsor the ballpark’s new Emerald Club Express Gate. Emerald Club members will have access to ticket pre-sales from 2018 as part of the deal.
National will also have a presence at the stadium’s Royal Rooters Club space and sponsor the National Call to the Bullpen during all regular-season home games.
In addition, National advertising will be featured in select radio and television broadcasts of Red Sox home games, and in each edition of Red Sox Magazine. National will also offer specially-priced car rental rates to Red Sox players, staff and coaches.
National also holds partnerships with fellow MLB teams the Los Angeles Angels, Houston Astros, St. Louis Cardinals, New York Mets, Baltimore Orioles, Texas Rangers, Kansas City Royals and Chicago White Sox.
In other news, the Red Sox have agreed a sponsorship deal with men’s personal care brand Cremo Company. Cremo will serve as the official grooming sponsor of the Red Sox. The agreement will cover the 2017 MLB season.
