Naomi Osaka was the highest-paid female athlete in the world in 2021, according to Forbes business magazine.
The Japanese tennis star made $57.3m (€50m) in on and off-the field earnings in a year that saw the world’s ten highest-paid female athletes earn a record $167m before taxes.
