Monaco teams up with streaming service

French Ligue 1 football club AS Monaco has signed a partnership with music and entertainment streaming platform Playzer.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Playzer will serve as the ‘Official Streamer’ of the football club and its esports team.

Philippe Moyal, president of Playzer, said the deal represents a first for a music streaming service. The company will be responsible for pre-match music at Monaco home games and will have strong exposure during Ligue 1 clashes at the Stade Louis II.

The partnership also includes a digital presence and content creation around the Monaco esports team on the Playzer platform.

Launched in 2013, Playzer also holds partnerships with Orange, Bouygues Telecom and Air France.
