Milwaukee Bucks add grocery store to sponsorship basket

NBA basketball franchise the Milwaukee Bucks has agreed a partnership with grocery store Pick ‘n Save, an affiliate of supermarket chain Roundy’s.

Pick ‘n Save has been named the club’s presenting sponsor for the upcoming 2015-16 season. As part of the agreement, the store will provide discount deals at the Bucks’ home arena the BMO Harris Bradley Center, where it will also receive in-arena advertising.

In addition, Pick ‘n Save will operate in-store sweepstake competitions to give fans the chance to win tickets for Bucks matches and other prizes.

“Our customers will be treated to an in-store experience of Bucks merchandising, player appearances and promotions during the 2015-16 NBA season,” Joe Wood, vice-president of marketing for Roundy’s supermarkets, said.
