Microsoft Devices, the new name for mobile phone manufacturer Nokia, has secured a deal with the Finnish Basketball Association.
The agreement will run for two years, covering the International Basketball Federation’s (Fiba) World Cup this year and the 2015 EuroBasket tournament.
Under the agreement, Microsoft Devices will become a global partner of the Finland men’s national team. Microsoft Devices will be the exclusive partner on the team's game apparel.
Finland will play at the World Cup for the first time this year, with 7,000 fans expected to travel to Spain to cheer on the team. Finland finished ninth at EuroBasket 2013.
Nokia, which was acquired by Microsoft last year, was the main sponsor of Finland’s national youth teams for a decade.
