Multi-national fast-food chain McDonald’s has sealed a two-year extension to its partnership with French Ligue 1 football club Paris Saint-Germain.
The deal relates to McDonald’s restaurants in the Ile-de-France region – the most populated of the country’s 27 administrative regions, which includes Paris and its surrounding area.
Over the past two years, McDonald’s and PSG have collaborated on in-restaurant promotional events and the new tie-up will grant McDonald’s greater visibility on the club’s media channels and benefit from further joint-branding activities.
Before the end of 2013, the Menu Paris Saint-Germain meal deal will launch in more than 200 McDonald’s chains across the Ile-de-France.
McDonald’s was previously an official supplier to Paris Saint-Germain but now joins Emirates, Nike, Ooredoo, Qatar National Bank, Orange, Citroen, PMU, Go Sport and beIN Sport in enjoying official partner status.
