Tyre brand Maxxis has announced a sponsorship agreement with NBA basketball team the Los Angeles Lakers for the 2014-15 season.
The deal grants Maxxis category exclusivity with the Lakers and the brand will receive prominent courtside LED TV signage during games, along with a banner at the team’s Toyota Sports Center practice arena.
Partnering with Los Angeles Lakers expands Maxxis’ association with major sports teams, including MLB baseball outfits New York Yankees, Baltimore Orioles and Cincinnati Reds. It also sponsors English Premier League team Liverpool and the Australian Open tennis tournament.
