English Premier League football club Manchester United has signed a multi-year deal with Swissquote making the firm its first commercial partner in the foreign exchange sector.
The Swiss online financial and trading services provider employs over 500 people across seven offices in Switzerland, the UK, Dubai, Hong Kong and Malta. It aims to use the United partnership to further global awareness of its brand.
Swissquote chief executive and co-founder Marc Burki said: “As co-founder of this company just 25 years ago, this is a very important milestone to add to our young history and it makes me realise how far Swissquote Bank has come.”
