Formula One motor racing team Lotus has agreed a new sponsorship deal with technology company Capriza.
Terms of the deal with the firm, described as a “disruptive SaaS-based enterprise mobility platform vendor”, were not disclosed but it will receive branding presence on the E23 Hybrid, Lotus’ challenger for the 2015 F1 season.
Lotus said that as its technology partner, Capriza’s mobile solution will enable the team to extend critical information systems to mobility and simplify the way personnel process vital business tasks.
Russell Acton, international vice-president and general manager of Capriza, said: “Capriza is excited about the partnership with Lotus F1 Team and working with them on extending their global business to mobile. We have huge momentum; we are growing quickly and now expanding our footprint internationally. Formalising relationships with fast, dynamic, innovative partners are very strategic for us.
“We join the team at the start of their 2015 season and will be rapidly deploying our solutions to make a positive impact on the team’s productivity and efficiency as they develop their exciting new car for the year ahead.”
Lotus will be looking to bounce back from a hugely disappointing season in 2014, when the picked up only 10 points to finish eighth in the constructors’ championship.
