Credit card company MBNA has extended its long-term partnership with English Premier League football club Liverpool until the end of the 2018-19 season.
MBNA, which began its relationship with Liverpool 16 years ago, will remain the club’s official credit card partner.
Supporters that hold an MBNA Liverpool credit card will continue to benefit from exclusive rewards and giveaways.
As part of the renewal, MBNA will also launch a competition for UK-based supporters to win two pairs of tickets to Liverpool’s final home game of the season against Newcastle United on May 11.
Michael Donald, marketing and commercial executive for MBNA, said: “As a company, we want to make life easier for fans to show their support for club and colours through the credit card programme, while at the same time offering them the chance to take advantage of some money-can’t-buy competitions and rewards.”
Liverpool remains top of the English Premier League despite having lost to title rival Chelsea on Sunday and is looking to win its first league title since 1990.
