Supermarket chain Lidl has extended its partnership with the German Handball Association (DHB).
Lidl first partnered with the DHB in 2016 and its deal had been due to conclude in December 2020. However, the two parties have now opted to extend this by two years through to the end of 2022.
Lidl will continue as a Premium Partner and Official Food Partner of the DHB and its national teams.
The DHB said activities for the 2020 European Championship, to be co-hosted by Austria, Norway and Sweden, will revolve around the topics of exercise and healthy nutrition.
