German brewery Licher has sealed a three-year extension to remain as the main sponsor of Handball Bundesliga team HSG Wetzlar.
Licher's logo will feature on the front of Wetzlar's shirts during Bundesliga home matches.
The beer brand will also benefit from floor and perimeter advertising, product placement and fan give-aways at home games.
Additionally, Licher will be given a new media presence in association with Wetzlar – including social media activations through Facebook – and ticket and hospitality services.
The financial terms of the renewed deal between Wetzlar and Licher were not disclosed.
