Mobile phone operator Spusu has signed up as the new title sponsor of the Handball Liga Austria club competition.
The partnership will run for three years, covering the 2017-18 to 2019-20 seasons.
Spusu will benefit from a range of rights, including brand placement in the backdrop of all league interviews.
The company will also receive promotion through online sports broadcaster Laola1.tv and Austrian public-service broadcaster ORF, the league’s rights-holders. Spusu previously served as the presenting partner for games shown live on Laola1.tv.
The partnership, which was brokered by Laola1, also includes digital rights and grants Spusu the option to acquire a sponsorship package for the 2020 men’s Handball European Championship, which is being co-hosted by Austria.
