The French Football League (LFP) has agreed a partnership with technology company HTC.
The deal will run for three-and-a-half seasons, starting immediately and running until the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
HTC’s branding will receive exposure on all LFP media platforms covering the league’s various competitions, including top-tier Ligue 1, second-tier Ligue 2, the Coupe de la Ligue and the Trophée des Champions. HTC’s logo will also be visible in stadia.
Francis Hernandez, the chief executive of HTC France, said: “This is an obvious partnership due to the expertise of HTC in its communication technologies in virtual reality and in connected products for monitoring the sports performance. We will be able to enable us to offer unique experiences to our customers and to all football fans in France.”
