Communication design and production group Kingsmen Creatives has agreed a S$3m (€1.81m/$2.4m) deal to become the official venue planning partner of the 2015 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.
The SEA Games’ agreement with Kingsmen Creatives means it has secured S$28m of its S$50m sponsorship target for the biennial multi-sport event.
Kingsmen has previously worked on the Youth Olympics Games, which Singapore hosted in 2010, as well as the Commonwealth Games multi-sport event and the Formula One motor-racing championship. The company will provide in-kind services related to venue-planning worth S$1.8m at more than 30 competition and 50 training facilities located at Kallang’s Sports Hub, Expo and Marina Bay.
The remaining S$1.2m is the value of advertising exposure Kingsmen will receive on the Wilkie Edge LED screen in Singapore’s Rochor District, expected to reach about 4.5 million people per month over a one-year period.
Kingsmen joins NTUC FairPrice, SingTel and Deloitte Singapore in signing on as an official sponsor of the 2015 SEA Games.
