LaLiga football club CD Leganés has signed a one-season shirt sleeve deal with cryptocurrency token Kick Soccer Coin (KSOC).
Under the deal, the brand logo will also appear on the first team’s training jerseys and sweatshirts, as well other offline and online club platforms.
According to the kicksoccercoin.com website, the virtual currency aims to smooth the process of transactions in soccer, from “fans to football agents and companies”.
The brand currently partners four player agencies, including Cedro Esport, which manages the licensing and image rights of Brazilian national team and Paris St Germain player Dani Alves.
Alves is a KSOC brand ambassador, as are Brazilian stars Willian and Paulinho, currently playing their club football at Chelsea and Guangzhou Evergrande respectively.
