Kia teams up with Spanish Basketball Federation

The Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB) has entered into a partnership with Korean automotive manufacturer Kia.

The one-year deal will run until next summer and names Kia as the Official Vehicle of the FEB and the Spanish national team.

Kia will provide the federation with cars as part of the agreement, while the company will benefit from brand visibility across FEB assets.

The deal strengthens Kia’s sponsorship presence within basketball, with the company also holding partnerships with the NBA and the Liga ACB, Spain’s domestic league.

Kia has partnered with the FEB ahead of the Fiba Basketball World Cup in China, which runs from August 31 to September 15.

Spain, which reached the quarter-finals at the last tournament in 2014, has this year been drawn in Group C alongside Iran, Puerto Rico and Tunisia.
