Fast food restaurant chain KFC has renewed its title sponsorship of Australia’s Big Bash League Twenty20 cricket competition.
KFC has held naming rights to the competition since the inaugural 2011-12 season and the new agreement will run for four years.
The new deal has been signed ahead of the 2017-18 BBL season, which begins on December 19.
“KFC Australia has been a fantastic supporter of the league and we are proud to be partnering with them into the seventh season of the BBL and beyond,” Kim McConnie, Cricket Australia’s head of the league, said.
“KFC and Bucketheads have become synonymous with the fun and joy that the BBL delivers and we are looking forward to working together to deliver this great summer family experience for years to come.”
