Healthcare company Kaiser Permanente has agreed to extend its presenting sponsorship deal with NBA basketball team the Golden State Warriors.
The new deal will run for three years, from 2014-15 to 2016-17.
The extension of the “Gold Alliance” top-level sponsorship agreement was announced a year before the end of the existing agreement.
The company, which has partnered the club for eight years, will remain the team’s official healthcare provider.
Kaiser Permanente will also benefit from permanent and temporary in-arena signage, integrated media assets and various community outreach events. The firm’s ‘We Care For All Warriors’ branding will also be integrated into all in-arena assets and public service announcements.
In addition, it will also continue to hold the naming rights to Kaiser Permanente Arena – the home of NBA D-League affiliate Santa Cruz Warriors.
The company will participate in this season's ‘Get Fit Timeout’ programme, in which Warriors players, coaches and ambassadors will join Kaiser Permanente representatives to educate local youngsters on the importance of healthy eating and active living.
