German Bundesliga football club Bayer 04 Leverkusen has agreed a two-year deal for Jako to replace fellow German sportswear firm Adidas as its kit partner.
The agreement will run across the 2016-17 and 2017-18 Bundesliga seasons and includes the option of a one-year extension.
Jako already has a presence in the Bundesliga through a partnership with Eintracht Frankfurt. Bayer Leverkusen managing director Michael Schade said: “For us, this equipment contract with Jako is the logical consequence of a detailed market test.
“We had many options, not only financially lucrative but also offering superb service. The new top line of Jako also has a quality of which our players were instantly excited about. But the most important thing is that for Jako we are the clear No.1 among its partners.”
