Sportswear company Adidas has agreed a deal “in principle” to extend its partnership with the Japan Football Association.
The agreement will run for eight years, from 2015 to 2022.
Under the deal, Adidas will continue to supply the official kit for the various Japan men’s and women’s national teams.
Financial details of the new agreement were not disclosed.
Adidas has supplied Japan’s kit since 1999.
