Italian basketball team Aquila Basket Trento has secured domestic energy company Dolomiti Energia as its main sponsor ahead its first season in Serie A, the sport’s top division in the country.
The one-year deal will run for the duration of the 2014-15 Serie A campaign.
Although details of the deal were not disclosed, Luigi Longhi, president of Aquila Basket Trento, said that the sponsorship agreement would include various environmental, social and ethical initiatives.
Aquila Basket Trento secured promotion to Serie A for the first time after winning the 2013-14 National Division A Gold play-offs.
