The Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) has extended its partnership with the Giorgio Armani fashion house through to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
Under the terms of the deal, Armani will continue to supply Italian athletes with sportswear and formal attire, excluding competition clothing.
Armani will clothe both the Olympic and Paralympic teams for next year’s Winter Games in Sochi and the Summer Games in Rio. The deal will also take in Youth Olympic Games staged during this period.
The Milan-based company’s new three-year deal comes after it partnered with CONI as its official outfitter for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
