The Ironman triathlon series has agreed a three-year partnership with Zoot Sports, an apparel company specialising in running and triathlon products.
The deal will begin next January and runs through to the end of 2018. As part of the agreement, Zoot will become the official performance apparel and technical apparel sponsor of the Ironman North American series events from 2016 to 2018.
Andrew Messick, chief executive of Ironman, said: “Zoot Sports is a legacy performance apparel provider that we know can deliver innovative products to our world-class athletes.”
Zoot is considered one of the most trusted brands in the sport and has developed the first triathlon-specific footwear line. The company will showcase its new line of products at this week’s Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.
