Italian Serie A football club Inter Milan has agreed a partnership with Italian e-commerce company ePrice.
The three-year deal names ePrice as the official online retail partner of the club.
The company will be granted a range of brand visibility across Inter’s physical and digital properties, along with engagement events at key moments throughout the year. Special initiatives will also be launched for Inter fans.
“We’re very happy that ePrice has chosen Inter to launch its first partnership with a football club,” Inter’s sales and partnership management director Giorgio Brambilla said. “For many years, Inter has worked to increasingly be more and more of a reference point in digital communication in football and in sport and we’re proud that one of this country’s most interesting e-commerce companies has decided to join us.”
Paolo Ainio, chairman and chief executive of ePrice, added: “We’ve seen that the ownership, management and team want to do innovative things in the world of sport and we’re convinced that this decision will bring great added value to ePrice. To be their official online retail partner will increase recognition of our brand but that’s not all. Our marketing team is ready to make the next and the following seasons special.”
Inter finished the 2017-18 Serie A season in fourth place, securing qualification for the Uefa Champions League.
