Italian Serie A football team Inter Milan has entered into a four-year commercial agreement with the Infront Sports & Media agency.
Infront will undertake sponsorship marketing for Inter across Europe and take responsibility for corporate hospitality services on matchdays at the club’s San Siro stadium, with the agreement running through the 2017-18 season.
Inter president Erick Thohir said the agreement is worth a basic €80m ($110.4m) across the four-year term – representing a 50 per cent increase in revenue across sectors covered by the deal.
Thohir said: “Inter and Infront share a growth strategy that they will develop together over the next four years, looking to position the Inter brand – from a financial point of view too – on a level of international excellence.”
With three games remaining in the 2013-14 season, Inter Milan is currently placed fifth in the Serie A standings.
