British Skeleton has announced a five-year partnership with consultancy group Ignite in support of its next generation of sliders.
The deal, worth £100,000 (€116,800/$152,250), will focus on British Skeleton’s talent squad, a group of six athletes aged from 22-24, as they work towards the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang.
The squad completed its first non-competition season on ice this year, making 150 training runs on five tracks across the United States and Europe.
Having relocated to Bath, the talent squad will compete for Great Britain in the Europa Cup and NAC circuits next season on the back of a full summer training programme.
