Insurance data provider IBC has been unveiled as the new lead sponsor of the CWHL, Canada’s professional women’s ice hockey competition.
The deal will run for the duration of the 2014-15 season.
As part of the CWHL sponsorship, IBC will educate the public on road safety and other insurance issues.
Ralph Palumbo, IBC Ontario’s vice-president, said: “We're proud to support the amazing athletes in the CWHL and pleased to have this unique opportunity to share our road safety messages with new audiences in communities across the country.”
