Online printing company Saxoprint has signed up as the title sponsor of Ligue Magnus, the top division of ice hockey in France.
The agreement will run for four seasons, from 2016-17 to 2019-20.
Under the deal, the Saxoprint logo will be placed on the ice at all 12 of the league’s clubs.
Saxoprint is already a sponsor of teams in the MotoGP motorcycle-racing world championship and a leading sailing team. In ice hockey, the company is a partner of the national association in Austria and Swiss club EV Zug.
“Sport sponsorships are an integral part of our communication technique,” Saxoprint chief executive Daniel Ackermann said.
