Hyperice adds US Soccer to expansive sponsorship portfolio

Hyperice, the increasingly prominent recovery and performance technology company, has announced a multiyear, multi-property partnership with the United States Soccer Federation.

The partnership provides all of US Soccer’s national team players and coaches – including the US women’s national team (USWNT), US men’s national team (USMNT), all 16 youth national teams and all extended US national teams (beach, futsal and para-7-a-side) access to Hyperice’s technologies on the sidelines and during training for key matches.

The partnership, which designates Hyperice as US Soccer's inaugural official recovery technology partner, was facilitated by Soccer United Marketing.

“Hyperice is an innovative, premium brand that has had a tremendous impact on high performance across the sports industry,” said US Soccer chief commercial officer David Wright. “Our shared vision and commitment to create environments that enable our athletes to perform at their best is core to the strategic partnership.”

The partnership kicks off this week as the USWNT return to action in friendly matches against Sweden on April 10 in Stockholm and France on April 13 in Le Havre.

Hyperice has also added USWNT rising star Sophia Smith to its roster of world-class young athletes.

It is the latest high-profile sponsorship deal for Hyperice, which recently secured partnerships with Major League Baseball's New York Yankees and San Diego Padres, the National Basketball Association's Los Angeles Lakers, and the National Football League's Kansas City Chiefs.

Last year Hyperice transformed its financial fortunes, as well as its domestic and international profile, following a flurry of partnerships with the National Basketball AssociationUltimate Fighting ChampionshipMajor League Baseball, the PGA Tour, English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur, the All Blacks, the National Women’s Hockey League, USA Cycling and USA Track & Field, and the University of Kentucky men’s basketball program, as well as a series of leading athletes.
