Hublot to continue to watch over Fifa

Hublot has extended its partnership with Fifa, world football’s governing body, until 2022, according to the Swiss watchmaker’s president Jean-Claude Biver.

Hublot currently serves as a Fifa-branded licensee for the period covering the 2014 World Cup in Brazil but Biver told Swiss newspaper Handelszeitung that this agreement has now been extended to take in the 2018 and 2022 tournaments.

“We are partner of Fifa until 2022, also for the 2018 (World Cup) in Russia and 2022 in Qatar,” Biver said. “This is a colossal thing.”
