Food company Goodman Fielder has reached a deal to become an official partner of New South Wales Waratahs for the 2014 Australian rugby union season.
In a separate agreement, Goodman Fielder has also signed up Waratahs and Australia star Israel Folau as an ambassador for its Wonder White and MeadowLea brands.
These announcements come on the back of the Waratahs signing Volvo as its new major sponsor in July. The car manufacturer upgrades to a principal sponsor role for the 2014 and 2015 seasons.
The Waratahs said negotiations are underway to secure sponsors for the sleeves and back of the club’s jersey, with deals expected in the coming weeks.
