Online payment processing company Secure Trading has agreed a deal with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) to become the principal partner of England’s rugby sevens teams.
The four-year agreement will see Secure Trading become the front-of-shirt sponsor for the men’s and women’s senior England sevens squads.
RFU’s grassroots initiative ‘24/Sevens’ will add Secure Trading as its title sponsor. The new community-focused sevens series comprises several tiers of competition with a local and regional qualifying stage, culminating in a national final that will take place on July 29 in Bath.
As part of the partnership, Secure Trading will also have branding rights at the Exeter Sevens event, which takes place at Sandy Park on July 15-16. The tournament forms part of the wider Rugby Europe Sevens Grand Prix Series and brings together the best international rugby sevens teams from across Europe.
