Major League Baseball Properties (MLBP) has reached a deal for male grooming brand Gillette to be the title sponsor of its 2014 Home Run Derby.
The 2014 Home Run Derby will take place at Target Field in Minneapolis, home of the Minnesota Twins, on July 14 and is to be televised live on US sports network ESPN.
Gillette has been an MLB sponsor since the 1939 World Series, making it the longest-serving sponsor of its kind in North American professional sports.
This year’s Home Run Derby coincides with the launch of Gillette’s new Fusion ProGlide with FlexBall Technology razor and the company will conduct associated promotions on television and in Minnesota around the event.
