German Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) club BBC Bayreuth has secured its first naming rights partner in 18 years, with current partner Medi upgrading its relationship with the team.
The medical product manufacturer has served as the Bavarian club’s kit sponsor through its CEP brand since 2010, but has now agreed a three-year deal encompassing home and away kit sponsorship as well as naming rights to the team itself.
BBC Bayreuth finished 15th in the 2012-13 BBL season and will now be known as Medi Bayreuth.
