Energy giant Gazprom has been unveiled as an official partner of the International Sailing Federation (ISAF).
The agreement will run for five years, from 2015 to 2019.
Under the deal, Gazprom has secured exclusivity in the ISAF’s energy partnership category.
Gazprom has been a long-term supporter of sailing, sponsoring the Gazprom Swan 60 class and supporting youth projects in Russia, the company’s home country.
“With the help of Gazprom International we are aiming to reach new heights with sailing, helping young people engage with the sport through to the ISAF Sailing World Cup,” ISAF president Carlo Croce said.
