Japanese information and communication technology solutions company Fujitsu has reached an agreement to become an official sponsor of the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
Fujitsu joins Canon and Toshiba in the official sponsor category – the second commercial tier for the national team rugby union tournament, which is being hosted by England and commences on September 18.
World Rugby chief executive Brett Gosper said: "The appointment of a market leader as an official sponsor further reflects the significant appeal of an event that is on track to be a very special global celebration of rugby that will reach, attract and inspire new participants in record numbers."
The financial terms of the sponsorship were not disclosed. Heineken, Land Rover, Société Générale, DHL, Emirates and MasterCard are the top-tier Worldwide Partners of the Rugby World Cup.
