The French Football Federation (FFF) has extended its partnership with energy company EDF.
The new five-year deal will run through to June 2023.
EDF, which has supported the FFF since 2014, will retain its role as a major partner of the federation and also continue to partner the Coupe de France domestic club competition.
EDF has also agreed to enhance its support of women’s football in the country as well as become a partner of France’s national ‘eFoot’ esports team.
Noel Le Graët, president of the FFF, said: “I welcome the five-year renewal of the partnership with EDF. EDF is a flagship of French industry, a global showcase of French know-how. This commitment by our side, over time, is a sign of confidence and appreciation for the missions and actions of the FFF.”
EDF will continue as a major partner alongside Nike, Credit Agricole, PMU and Volkswagen.
