Italian Serie A football team Fiorentina has entered into a sponsorship agreement with online gaming brand Betclic.
Under the deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, Betclic becomes a ‘top sponsor’ of Fiorentina alongside Banca CR Firenze.
In addition to extensive visibility in association with the club, Betclic will develop joint online and offline activities for Fiorentina supporters and collaborate on various digital and social media initiatives.
“This collaboration will be a further step to overcoming the old concept of sponsorship and will help to create new scenarios of interaction with the fans, which we hope will lead our companies to strengthen the relationship with the public,” Fiorentina’s commercial director Gian Luca Baiesi said.
Fiorentina is winless in its first two Serie A matches of the 2014-15 season following a goalless draw with Genoa at the weekend and launches its Uefa Europa League campaign against French Ligue 1 team Guingamp on Thursday.
