Vacuum cleaner manufacturer Vorwerk Folletto has signed on as the new main sponsor of Italian Serie A football club Fiorentina.
Terms of the deal were not officially disclosed but it will cover at least the 2016-17 campaign, which got underway at the weekend. Vorwerk Folletto’s branding will appear on the front of Fiorentina’s playing shirts as part of the deal.
A range of fan engagement activities, educational projects and digital activations will also be organised to promote the partnership.
Vorwerk Folletto’s branding adorned Fiorentina’s jerseys for the first time during the 2-1 defeat against defending champion Juventus on Saturday. The company replaces the Save the Children charity as the club’s front-of-shirt partner.
