ExxonMobil extends backing of Qatar Open

Multinational oil and gas company ExxonMobil has renewed its title sponsorship of the Qatar Open men’s tennis tournament.

Under the new three-year deal, the event will continue to be known as the Qatar ExxonMobil Open.

The Qatar Open is an event on the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) World Tour and forms part of its 250 series. ExxonMobil has served as title sponsor for the last 27 years.

The 2019 event got underway on December 31 and concludes on January 5. France’s Gaël Monfils is the defending champion.
